Teachers with SEN: Shaping Inclusive Practice in ELT

In this event, our speakers will explore the experiences of learners with SEN and consider how these can inform our understanding of teachers with SEN. We will discuss issues of accessibility, disclosure, reasonable adjustments, professional expectations and belonging, while challenging assumptions about the “effective” teacher. The event will highlight the valuable perspectives, experiences and expertise that teachers with SEN bring to ELT communities and consider what these mean for more inclusive practice.
